Profile

Single-variety Ogliarola. Light yellow-green and clear. Fresh grass, lettuce, almond and hints of vanilla on the nose; subtle and soft on the palate, with delicate but present bitterness and pungency. It is the same oil as Il Marchese light fruity organic.

How to use it

In simple dishes, with white meat, fish and vegetables. The 5 litre box is for households that use a lot of olive oil every day, or for stocking up.

Format and storage

5 litre bag-in-box with tap; the same oil also comes in 3 litres. The bag shrinks as you pour, limiting the oil’s contact with air and light. Store it in a cool place, away from heat. It is organic: the label carries the control body code.

Why bag-in-box rather than a bottle?

Because the oil stays better protected once opened: the bag shrinks as you pour, limiting the oil’s contact with air and light. An open bottle lets air in every time you pour.
