Single-variety Coratina, this is the boldest of the three Il Marchese oils: an intense fruity extra virgin olive oil. Green and herbaceous on the nose; on the palate dill, fennel, artichoke, hay and tomato, with clear bitterness and pungency.
Pairings
This is the oil for dishes that can take a strong flavour: raw, on salads, bean soups and grilled meat. Drizzled raw on rustic bread, it shows its full character.
